The Aims of School Council

The aim of the School Council is to be a voice for the pupils at Undy Primary school.

Our Council consists of 12 members who represent the pupils of our school. At the beginning of the year any child who would like to be part of the School Council writes a manifesto explaining how they could benefit the school .

Through a secret ballot other pupils in the school have the opportunity to vote for the child they think will best represent them.

We have two representatives from each class . We are a very active group and meet on a regular basis to discuss any issues that have arisen and any fundraising projects we would like to become involved in.

We keep minutes of each meeting and liase with the head teacher and other adults in the school community. We have a teacher Mrs Jarvis who helps to chair the meetings.
