12th July 2019

The children have continued to enjoy exploring their outside area, particulary the water during this hot weather.  They have also been making sure they are drinking lots as they know how important it is to keep hydrated in the heat.

We have a busy week next week, here are some reminders:

Wednesday 17th July is our Graduation.  The children can wear party clothes for our celebration.  We would be very grateful if you could contribute some party food for our party.

Thursday 18th July is our festival on the field: GlastUndy.  Children can wear festival insprired outfits.  Children will have the opportunity to have their faces painted, hair coloured and tattoos if they would like.  Please let the Nursery Team know if you do not want your child to take part in any of these activities.  We don't require any parent helpers, thank you for your kind offers.

Have a wonderful weekend.

Important dates

17th July Nursery Graduation

18th July GlastUndy

19th July Last day- non- uniform.

 Next Week:

  • We will be looking at some different animal prints and patterns
  • We will be practising some races ready for Sports Day

Please ensure that your child comes into Nursery wearing comfortable clothing and footwear that is suitable for running in.  We will take every opportunity to go outside and practise, depending on the weather!  As the weather is changing so quickly, you may wish to apply sun cream before your child comes into Nursery daily.  Please send in a sun hat, clearly labelled with your child's name.  We will try our best to ensure that all children have a drink daily, even if they do not choose to come inside for Snack.

Our Sports Day is on Tuesday 11th June and it will take place on the field behind the School.  Morning Sports Day will begin at 10:00 am and Afternoon Sports Day will begin at 1:30 pm.  Your child will need to come into Nursery at the usual time on this day, already dressed in their sports clothes. We would love to see you there.
