Friday 8th March

We have had another busy week here in Nursery!  We have spent lots of time talking about Wales and looking at Welsh things.  Lots of us drew or painted a picture of daffodils for the Eisteddfod competition. They are displayed in Nursery and they look amazing.  We did an amazing job of singing our Welsh song 'Lliwau'r Enfys' in the big School. Children looked fantastic in all of their Welsh clothing, thank you.

We made pancakes at our Baking Station this week. We read a story called Mr Wolf's Pancakes and we talked briefly about Shrove Tuesday.  We had lots of fun choosing which toppings to put on our pancakes.

We loved seeing everyone dressed up for World Book Day.  Thank you so much for all of your efforts with costumes.

Next Week...

  • We will be talking more about 'Spring'.  If you have any photographs or books that we could share, then please send them into Nursery
  • We will be baking cup cakes at our Baking Station
  • We will be taking part in Comic Relief on Friday (15th March)  This will be a non-uniform day and we would be grateful for any donations towards this fantastic cause.  We will also be selling some of our fantastic cup cakes at the end of each Nursery session on Friday.
